Boyer Flight Park

Events have become more common in local areas as pilot populations are
able to support them.
This summer's end Don Jordan organized a fly-in at Boyer
Flight Park in Indiana. The pilots were treated to gracious hosts and good
flying. The pilots, pictured right, are (L to R) Dave Mote (kneeling), then Larry
Rodzeiwicz, Don Jordan, Mike Koval, & John Nichols. Others
included John Nichols, Rhonda Treesh (with John), Dave Mote, Stan Bartley, Larry
Rodzeiwicz, Dave McWhinnie, Chris Evans, Chris Verri, & Don Jordan.
About 80 folks attended a pot-luck dinner Saturday night and sucked down much
good food. A fun competition was held that wound up with
Don in 1st, John 2nd and Dave Mote 3rd. The Saturday afternoon events had
to be cancelled due to wind. Don says "Surely the outcome would have been different since that is when Dr. Dave arrived!" |
