Jan 1, 2002 - The maiden voyage.
Lakeland, FL

The full plan was formulated only a week or so before the purchase. It consists of 4 or more day jaunts from the Parastars convention up through Chris Bowles mountain and then to Bill Walsh's flyable piece of Cape Cod. It will return to Chicagoland via Bruce Brown's place (Toledo) around the beginning of June where the local parabums will likely make a trek or two with it.

Then in late September it starts working it's way towards Southern California via New Orleans (Bud Johnson), Houston (Gus Rasch), Albuquerque (Jerry & Michelle Danielle), Phoenix, Tucson (David Cook) and finally to the soarable sites of San Diego.  Hopefully I'll be able to hook up with others along the way.

The timing was perfect and I got to enjoy the first day in it's element...out in a cow pasture with PPG people all around. It was the annual New Years Day fly-in hosted by Jim Jackson of Paralite.

Flew my brains out on a variety of machines. The enterprise stayed in a variety of places around the Lakeland area including the local Wal-mart. This gave me the perfect opportunity to properly stock it.
